#TipsyTuesday | Thanksgiving Edition

It's almost Thanksgiving! A day to spend with family and friends, good food and even better drinks. Spirits flow and laughter fills the room and there's nothing greater than that. In this weeks #TipsyTuesday I'm sharing a few of my favorite cocktails that scream holiday cheer. 

We will be making two cocktails involving cranberries, one with maple syrup and another with walnut flavors.

Cranberry Cocktails

Ingredients (Vodka Cocktail)

3 tbsp. Cranberry Simple Syrup

2 tbsp. Vodka

1/2 c. Seltzer

Lime

Make It

Stir together cranberry simple syrup, vodka, and seltzer.

Add ice and garnish with a lime.

Garnish with a lime wedge.

Ingredients (Wine Cocktail)

1 tbsp. Cranberry Simple Syrup

1/2 c. Dry wine or Sparkling Wine

Make It

Add cranberry simple syrup to wine.

 

The Maple Manhattan

Ingredients 

3 oz. Rye

1/2 oz. Dry Vermouth

1 tbsp. Pure Maple Syrup

Bitters

Pickled Cherries

Make It

Add rye, vermouth, maple syrup and bitters into a shaker.

Shake and pour over ice.

Garnish with a cherries.

 

Hot and Nutty Whiskey Sours

Ingredients 

3/4 c. Nocello or other walnut-flavored liqueur

1 1/2 c. Whiskey or Bourbon

3/4 c. Simple Syrup 

1/4 c. Fresh Lemon Juice (from 2 lemons)

4 Cinnamon Sticks

Make It

Bring Nocello, whiskey, simple syrup and lemon juice to a simmer in medium saucepan.

Divide among 4 mugs and garnish with cinnamon sticks.
